Our History, Our Timeline:


1946: Norwegian immigrant founds Lorentz Bruun Construction Company.

1953: Lorentz Bruun Construction completes one of the first concrete tilt-up construction projects in Oregon.

1959: City of Roseburg, OR is nearly destroyed when a truck carrying 10,000 pounds of explosives exploded in the center city. Lorentz Bruun Construction was quick to respond with emergency crews and assistance to rebuild the community.

1962: Columbus Day wind storm devastates Portland. Lorentz Bruun Construction responded with a massive list of reconstruction projects.

1966: Lorentz Bruun Construction completes a series of major projects for the Oregon State Board of Higher Education with innovative lift slab construction for student housing.

1972: A tornado rips through the Peter S. Ogden school in Vancouver, WA. Along with other damaged structures, Lorentz Bruun Construction was on the job for repairs and restoration.

1979: Lorentz Bruun Construction finishes the Pabst Blue Ribbon $15 million renovation at the historic Blitz Weinhard Brewery.

1985: Lorentz Bruun Construction concludes the Portland Broadway Bridge renovation.

1990: Bonneville Dam, 70,000sf in-take gate maintenance facility is completed.

1995: Lorentz Bruun Construction Completes 10,000th Project

2005: Lorentz Bruun Construction renovates Portland Rose Garden.

2009: Lorentz Bruun Construction completes an $18 million Collins Lake Resort renovation project - the largest construction defect repair in Oregon history.

2012: Kiln Apartments, first passive house apartment building in the United States

2015: Lorentz Bruun Construction completes the historic US Custom House Renovation

2017: Koin Tower Renovation Concludes
